Hi everyone,
I’m currently trying to install the CAN driver for one of Wonik Robotics' controllers on a machine running Ubuntu 22.04. I’ve followed the basic installation steps from the documentation, but I keep running into build errors related to kernel headers and compatibility issues.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
Verified that build-essential and kernel headers are installed.
Tried compiling with make, but it throws an error referencing missing symbols.
Looked through the Git repo but didn’t find a clear patch for Ubuntu 22.04.
Has anyone here successfully installed the CAN driver on Ubuntu 22.04 or a similar recent distro?
👉 Is there an updated driver package or a patch I might have missed?
👉 Or should I consider downgrading to Ubuntu 20.04 for better compatibility?
Thanks in advance for any help. Would really appreciate if someone could share their working setup or advice!
