Hello everyone,
I’ve successfully built and installed the CAN driver for a PCIe-based CAN card on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS using the instructions from Wonik Robotics. The driver loads without errors (dmesg shows the device initializing), but the CAN interface (e.g., can0) does not appear when I run ifconfig or ip link.
I’ve already checked:
The module is loaded with lsmod
The device is visible in lspci
Tried using ip link set can0 up type can bitrate 500000 — but it says device not found
Is there a step I might have missed to register or activate the CAN interface after installation?
Would appreciate any guidance or steps from someone who got this working with a PCIe card. Thanks!
