Spain, Poland and Germany did not import coal from the RBCT last year, but during the first five months of this year Spain imported 355,250 tons of coal, Poland imported 181,515 tons, and Germany imported 157,383 tons.

Japan, which also said it would ban coal imports from Russia, has taken 388,249 tons of coal from the RBCT since January. or nearly doubled from last year

China, the third largest coal importer from the RBCT, imported 6.09 million tonnes in 2021, not receiving coal from the RBCT this year, possibly reflecting the increase in China's imports from Russia.
