Google WiFi Router Not Working
There could be several reasons why your Google WiFi router is not working. Here are some steps that you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
Check the power source: Make sure that the router is properly connected to the power source and that the power outlet is functioning properly.
Check the cables: Ensure that all the cables connected to the router are firmly plugged in and not damaged. Check the Ethernet cable between your modem and your primary Google Wifi point to ensure it’s properly connected.
Restart the router: Try restarting the router by unplugging it from the power source and plugging it back in after a few seconds.
Check for firmware updates: Check for any available firmware updates for your Google WiFi router and make sure it is up-to-date. To check for updates, open the Google WiFi app on your smartphone and select your network. Then, go to the Settings > Network & general > Advanced networking > Firmware update.
Factory reset: If none of the above steps work, you may need to reset your router to its factory settings. To do this, press and hold the reset button on the back of the router for at least 10 seconds until the LED indicator starts flashing. After the reset, set up your router again using the Google WiFi app.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, you may need to contact Google WiFi support or a professional technician for further assistance.
