Creon 40000 Capsule is used in the treatment of pancreatic insufficiency caused due to various conditions.
When not to use?
Allergy
Creon 40000 Capsule is not recommended for use if you are allergic to it. Seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms such as skin rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, breathing difficulty, etc.
Fibrosing colonopathy
Creon 40000 Capsule may increase the risk of fibrosing colonopathy (a disorder that affects a segment of the large intestine) upon prolonged usage at high doses. Therefore, it is not used if you have a history of this condition.
Gastrointestinal blockage
Creon 40000 Capsule is not recommended for use if you have gastrointestinal blockage (any blockage in the stomach or intestine) as it may further worsen your condition.
