Chinese-Canadian singer and actor Chris Wu, aka Wu Yifan, has been detained by Beijing police on suspicion of rape. Police from Chaoyang District made the announcement late on Saturday.slotxo
“Wu Yifan, 30 years old, Canadian citizenship. He was legally detained by the Beijing Chaoyang Branch of Public Security Office.
on charges of rape,” police in Beijing's Chaoyang district said in a statement posted on social media platform Weibo using Wu's message, Chinese name.
Wu was accused by 19-year-old college student Tu Meisu of luring underage women to have sex. claiming that he is casting which was widely condemned on Chinese social media.
The cabinet claimed that the number of victims including herself more than eight people and at least two of them were minors.
