Hi folks,
In an effort to put safety rails on a couple of balconies, I ended up splitting the concrete slabs once I tried to tighten the bolts for the base plates. (I used Hilti bolts, the ones that need the plastic inserts.) I realise now that the bolts were placed too close to the edge of the concrete. In the photos, these are TWO separate balconies. (Yeah, what was I thinking - stuffed up one and then did it again?!)

Anyway, what would be the best method of repairing this damage, with a mind to keeping the plates in the same position if possible – given that some of the other holes haven’t (yet) cracked?
